New drop for mid-next month courtesy of Jordan Brand as they put a new spin on the shoe that started it all, the Air Jordan I. The true high-cut sneaker features an OG-like pairing of black and red, albeit the red is kicked up a few notches as a bright Infrared. A pre-order is currently available at Lowtex with an official release for this limited pair slated for Valentine’s Day, February 14th, 2009 at select Jordan dealers.

Another new lifestyle-inspired high-top is on the way from Nike. Following the trails set by former popular high-top offerings, the RT1 High from Nike features select Air Yeezy undertones in a shoe that possesses some definite retro notes. Available before the beginning of summer in the following colorways. A retail price has been set for $95 USD.

Some more detailed shots of the next Air Jordan Fusion kicks have surfaced. Utilizing the obvious Air Force 1 midsoles, the sneakers take on the mold of Jordan’s fan favorite IV model. Featuring the famous bred colorway, the sneakers are complimented with a black nubuck upper alongside cement grey and varsity red accenting. A release is scheduled for the latter half of 2009.

As one of Canada’s leading outerwear manufactures, Canada Goose has been a winterwear staple amongst many. Combining the latest material innovations in a traditional aesthetic, Concepts out of Massachusetts and Canada Goose forge ahead with the release of a new Parka. The orange Parka features a fur trim on the hood, contrasting white zippers/trim and Concepts branding on the rear. Available now at Concepts.

PUMA hit us with a look into their highly anticipated collaboration with Undefeated. Utilizing the PUMA Mid model, essentially a mid-cut version of the PUMA suede, both companies push out a very well executed collection of premium kicks with a luxury-street appeal. The collection includes four different classic colors, all done in perforated suede, matching midsole stitching and accented with an embossed snakeskin formstrip. Also included in the collection is an extra limited mirror gold version. The inner sole is decorated with the Undefeated logo while a studded “five strikes” pierces through the outer collar. The shoes come with three different lace options, and the double-sided metal hangtag featuring both the PUMA and Undefeated logos are the final touches which set the shoe apart and make them a must in your rotation. The collection will be hitting all Undefeated chapter stores on Saturday, February 7th as well as the following retailers: Classic Kicks (NYC), ALIFE (NYC), Atmos (NYC), Major (DC), UBIQ (Philly), Premium Goods (Houston), Leaders (Chicago) and Bodega (Boston).

A further look in the Kanye West designed Louis Vuitton lineup reveals clearer images of two other colorways within the collection. Both black and white tonal variations compliment the much talked about red version featuring an assortment of materials and back tab feature.

Sony unveils some further colorways in their PSP franchise with an introduction to the Carnival Colors collection to the Japanese market officially entitled Radiant Red, Vibrant Blue, Bright Yellow, and Spirited Green. Other than the new color schemes, the units were matched with a 2200mAh battery, upping the retail price to ¥19,800 (Approx. $223 USD) while for ¥24,800 (Approx. $279 USD), they release a 4GB Memory Stick PRO Duo (Mark2), PSP pouch, wrist strap and cloth bundle. There is no word on a North America or European release.

The Bapesta from last year’s SpongeBob x Bape capsule is seen here in an all new light. The shoe features the replacing the previously seen patent leather upper with croc leather. No word (most likely not) yet on a release date, but we assume these were custom joints for Pharrell.

With a load of releases scheduled to hit Nike’s retail accounts, Proper gives a look into some of their new in-store drops. A variety of Air Max’s see some new colorways including the Air Max 90, Air Max 1 and Tailwind 92’s. Along with the runners, a new woven Blazer makes an appearance as well as the return of Nike’s Big Nike, originally making its debut in ‘85 on the feet of NBA giant Manute Bol.

Much like the Blazers shown sometime back, Nike gives a pair of their proclaimed best-selling runner model the ACG (All Conditions Gear) treatment. Taking the look of their Wildwood trail sneakers, these hybrids feature a familiar rugged outdoors approach with earth-tone buttery suede uppers alongside 3M and varsity red accenting. They are now available at select Nike retailers.
